Standard Rates from 01 September 2006

Translation

Rates are calculated per 1000 words and can vary depending on urgency, technical content, legibility etc. All prices quoted do not include VAT (17.5%).

Simply email or fax the documents that you require translated along with your language requirements and we will get back to you immediately with a complete quote and timeline for the assignment. If we require any additional information we will contact you prior to sending you the quote.

Quotes are only given on seeing the original documentation that requires translation.

Delivery

• E-mail delivery free of charge. 
• Hardcopy free of charge for minimum charge and short documents.
• 1st class postage free of charge.
• Recorded, Special, Courier and International delivery are charged as extra.

Liaison With Printers/Web Designers

We will also liaise directly to ensure that the product is delivered in the format useable by your printers and web designers - it is important that we receive the correct information as to the format required before translation takes place. Files that are required to be produced in HTML format for use on websites will incur an additional charge of 15% on top of the translation costs. Any Desktop Publishing (DTP) will be quoted in addition to the translation costs.

Interpreting

Rates vary depending on the language combination, availability of interpreters and the type of interpreting required. Confirmation of all bookings is required in writing.
If you contact us with your particular requirement, we will send you a complete quote for the service as soon as possible. 

voice-overs

We are able to provide translations for voice-over scripts as well as the linguists to produce the final product. We liaise closely throughout the production of the video to ensure that the script reflects the meanings and idioms required by the customer and are able to make changes quickly throughout the entire process. Rates are the same as those charged for interpreting. 

Expenses.

All expenses will be included in the initial quote that you receive for the translation or interpreting assignment. Travel time is charged at a minimum rate of £12/hour and 40p per mile or rail travel costs. Prices quoted do not include VAT (17.5%).
